THE GAS STRUT ITSELF APPEARS TO WORK OK, IT IS THE BOTTOM MOUNT THAT LETS THIS PRODUCT DOWN. IT IS BENT AT AN ANGLE NOT CONSISTENT WITH THE OEM STRUT, IS NOT REINFORCED AND VERY LOOSE ON THE PIVOT. I DECIDED TO BIN THEM AND LOOK FOR A BETTER PRODUCT.
